The kids are doing really well adjusting to their new school routines. Trevor loves switching classes in middle school. I met his teachers last night and they seem amazing to me. I talked with Kyle's teacher and he is fitting in well. He has his first day off tomorrow so we are going to meet up with some classmates at a park so he's excited about that. Katie is pretty pooped every day and just wants to come home and play wii. She has made 3 friends that she plays with and seems happy once we get there. She's not too crazy about using our feet to get there each morning instead of mom's mini-van but she will be citified before she knows it! This weekend we visited Tokyo Dome. There are many different areas there so we can explore another day in the future as well. But, we did manage to enjoy a roller coaster that went 80mph which the boys loved! There were some amusement park rides there and you could pay by the attraction or get an all day pass. Katie and I enjoyed an amazing crepe at a stand there which had ice cream, chocolate, bananas, and whipped topping. It was DIVINE. There were many shops there (which I didn't get to explore) and also a lot of eating places too. We had dinner at the Bubba Gumps which was GOOD. Just like the one on Navy Pier in Chicago. When we were walking from the subway to get home, we stumbled upon a festival of some sort. There were free games for the kids so of course we had to stop and check it out. Kyle and Katie fished for water balloons and kids were trying to capture goldfish to take home. It was cute. Never a dull moment here and something new to see all the time! This coming weekend Trevor should have his first middle school soccer game. The temps are finally getting into the low 80s so hopefully it won't be too miserable! I'll keep ya posted.
