Busy December!
As usual, December has kept us busy and has flown by! Trevor started practicing 3 times a week for Middle School Swim team. He seems to enjoy it and is getting an excellent workout! This past Saturday he had his first meet and competed in 3 events. The first Saturday of December was the kids' Winterfest at school. It is a fundraiser and included international food booths from many countries including, Brazil, Israel, Australia, Canada, Scandinavia, Italy, Korea, China, France, U.S., and Japan. Everything was so good! They had outdoor inflatables and games for the kids to enjoy. It was a great day and the weather cooperated too! Sunny and high 50s. Can't beat that in December! This past weekend Kyle and Katie participated in our church's traditional Christmas program. Kyle was Joseph and Katie was an angel! They performed for two different groups of homeless men and then Sunday for our church. Christmas decorations are everywhere here with beautiful lights decorating the trees. It feels very strange to not be running around in the cold buying people gifts right now. But I am adjusting. :) I managed to take a day and visit a spa on Enoshima Island which is about 1.5 hours outside of Tokyo. It was a beautiful retreat. Katie has also kept me busy doing some modeling here. Last Friday we spent the day with Nikon camera. They had a really fun crew! This Sunday we travel back to the States to celebrate Christmas with extended family. Not looking forward to the temperatures but looking forward to seeing those who are so far away!!! Wishing you all a very blessed Christmas!!
